Phlebotomist, Walton
Walton Medical Centre
Walton Medical Centre are currently looking for a qualified Phlebotomist who has experience in taking bloods within either a Primary Care or hospital setting. The hours are flexible and will consider both part time and full-time hours.
Walton is a walm and friendly Seaside Town surgery comprising of 2 Partners, GP’s, ANP’s, Paramedic, Social Prescriber, PCN GP Care Advisor, to name but a few. The practice is committed to the principles of the Improving Working Lives (IWL) Standards to provide a positive, employment friendly approach to the delivery of their healthcare service.
About you
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and pro-active Phlebotomist to join the team based in Walton Medical Centre.
We are looking for a phlebotomist who has experience of using clinical systems such as SystemOne and EMIS and will have experience of entering in patient data into these systems. You will have knowledge of using the equipment properly and maintain a high level of infection control. You will need to be aware of infection control protocols and knowledge of safely managing equipment.
