National Grief Awareness Week is taking place 2nd - 8th December 2024. Grief is the experience of coping with loss, and affects people in different ways, there is no right or wrong way to grieve. Your feelings may change day to day or even hour to hour, it is quite normal to have ups and downs.
You may experience:
sadness or depression
numbness or denial
confusion
anxiety and panic
anger
feeling overwhelmed
relief
guilt
There are a number of organisations and charities that offer support, guidance and information to anyone who is coping with a loss:

If you continue to be overwhelmed by your feelings, it is important to get the right help and support. You should book an appointment to talk to your GP or another healthcare professional.
